Ex Leu 5, 27 October 2019, 67 and previously from a European collection, formed before 2005.
While the early 'Sidon' staters (Price 3456-3466) have recently been reattributed to Tarsos, this coin differs significantly in style. Furthermore, it was struck from the same obverse die as the 'Arados' stater in Leu Web Auction 4, 24 June 2018, 152, suggesting, thus, that both coins were issued by the same mint.
